I started painting & wallpapering in high school and continued throughout college.  As an artist, I won awards and began selling my artwork. I was fortunate to spend substantial time in the major Art Museums of Eastern and Western Europe while studying and learning more about art and various painting techniques during my junior year abroad and subsequent trips to Europe. I established Steve G's in NYC in the mid-eighties and specialize in painting, faux painting, wall cover installations such as: papers (which include very fragile vintage papers), silks, grass cloths, self-adhesive temporary types & murals.  I also stage homes and install artwork. I work with architects, designers, decorators & clients directly. As a professional, I work on small and large-scale projects and have been featured on NBC's OPEN HOUSE.
